GORE-TEX SHAKEDRY product technology eliminates the need for a face fabric and does not require DWR treatments. Arc'teryx designers developed innovative design solutions to insulate the jacket with highly breathable and packable Coreloft Compact 40 insulation. The Dope Permeair 20 liner allows excess heat to escape and manages moisture.

This jacket definitely keeps you dry during wet conditions and the minimal insulation is perfect for you keeping you warm but not hot. The only thing I wish this jacket had was front pockets because sometimes I want to talk and put my hands somewhere. Overall, I love this jacket though!

This Norvan SL Insulated Hoody is quite good for trail running. It is waterproofing, but highly breathable - superlight Goretex shakedry emphasizing light weight and packable. It keeps you warm during you run in cold weather.
