Product Info for Arc'teryx Proton LT Jacket - Men's

The Proton LT Hoody is equipped with a breathable insulation package to manage the dynamic needs of mountain pursuits and perform as a self-regulating mid layer for a variety of high output activities. Breathable insulation means excess heat and moisture can pass through the combination of air permeable fabrics and insulation. In addition to being extremely air permeable, the Fortius Air 20 face fabric has unrivaled hardwearing durability, over 60 times more durable in abrasion tests than the industry standard. Coreloft Compact 80 synthetic insulation in the body maintains excellent stretch recovery. The No Slip Zip keeps the main zipper from self-opening and the helmet compatible insulated hood gives additional warmth. Put it on, leave it on and stay focused on the activity.image

Redesign includes updated durable and breathable face fabric, Dope Permeair 20 liner, and utilization of Coreloft Compact 80 insulation in the body and Coreloft Compact 60 in the hood.

Love the revised proton

Such a great breathable insulation layer. Works from the mountain to the office building. Fits like all Arc’teryx pieces; if your slender and long armed you can’t find a better fit. I wore a proton and a gamma Mx all day skiing and was neither too hot standing or too cold on the chairlift, imo the jacket is a better mode than the hood but ymmv.

this jacket is fantastic, its synthetic insulation is spot on. if its not too windy, this can be worn as an outer layer easily, when it's colder and windy, wearing a hard shell over this makes for a perfect combo of warmth This jacket is breathable. i'm 5'11 and 175, muscular upper, large fits perfectly.
