Product Info for Atlas Elektra 11 Series Snowshoes

The Atlas Elektra 11 Series snowshoes bridge top-end performance for winter hiking with greater value. Built on the proven technology and value of the Atlas 6061 aluminum V-frame, durable stainless steel All-Trac toe crampon and flexible Nytex decking, the 11 Series snowshoes have the added security of the Advanced Aft Traction and a climbing bar to ease strain on calf muscles. The Wrapp Plus bindings are specially molded around a women's last, with supportive arches that cradle the inside of your feet, and the urethane heel strap adjusts easily with the SureClick buckle. The Elektra frame features a narrower waist and tapered tail that allows a woman's natural stride to explore deeper terrain in comfort.image

The Atlas 11 series snowshoe is great for climbing steep hills. It has great traction and a climbing bar. The climbing bar is a must have for any steep hills. The Atlas 12 series will provide a little more traction but will cost a little more as well. You could take a step down to the Atlas 10 series but still get the climbing bar feature.
