Product Info for Big Agnes Oak Street Insulated Air Sleep Pad
Big Agnes Oak Street Insulated Air Pad with PrimaLoft Eco uses one of the outdoor industry's premier insulation materials to provide added warmth. Designed for those seeking an air pad suitable for 3-Season use, these 3.5 inch thick pads share the same I-beam construction of the original Air Core pad, but use a lighter, 40 denier fabric. The stuffed size and weight on these pads are still smaller than any self-inflating foam pad. This extra wide pad is ideal for the Big Agnes Park Series bags and people who like a larger pad to sleep on.
Features of Big Agnes Oak Street Insulated Air Pad:
Light and compact three season pad, with 3.5" of comfort
PrimaLoft Eco: synthetic insulation made from 50% recycled materials used in all 20" wide pads
M3 synthetic insulation used in the 25" wide pad
I-beam construction eliminates welded seams to reduce cold spots and ensures quick inflation/deflation, consistent air flow and stability
20" pads: Durable, lightweight 50D nylon diamond rip-stop top and bottom
25" pad: Durable, 70D nylon top and bottom
Internal polyurethane coating
Add a closed cell foam pad in colder temperatures for extra insulation
Non-breakable brass valve with plastic coated EZ-Flate mouthpiece
Store unrolled with valve open
Includes stuff sack and repair kit. The repair kit is in a small pocket on the inside of the stuff sack. It's sort of hidden, so look twice!
Each pad individually inflated and tested

We bought this mainly for canoe tripping to increase comfort and reduce pack size. We are a family of 6 and these are compact enough to reduce the size and/or qty of packs needed.

Used it in Sub-freezing temperatures and it was reasonably warm, although below 20 deg F and I would add a foam pad underneath. Very light and packs down small. Only downside is it is not self-inflating and it takes a long time to blow up a thick pad like this.
This pad is really great, light weight, high R-value,and comfort, I use this instead of my old pads(Mountain Designs), and the best thing is the price, I got the pad with very surprised cost, I love it
Used on a backpacking trip in the canyon lands of Utah. First night we slept at the cars in the parking lot at the trail head.It was windy and no one decided to pitch tents. Well I spent a good part of the night tossing and turning and this pad was rather noisy every time I moved. It didn't bother me but all my buddies made comments on it the next morning.

I use this pad on most trips, both for bikepacking and car camping.
the insulation helps a lot in cool temperatures. Even in november it has served me well.
The size of the pad is ok, i might have been better off with the longer version (I'm 6'0)
I have found that the amount of air required to fill it up is down fall. It is a large amount of air required but can easily be done... Read more
