stood in the rain

we recently had a 2 week biking trip in Yukon followed by a 2 weeks of hiking in Denali. It rained a lot, but this tent stood dry while my friends tents failed one after the other. It's spacious, very light, and easy to setup.

Light weight ans spacious

I just received this tent and had only tried to set it up at home. It is lightweight and easy to set up. I did not need a instruction to guide the step. simple and easy. The interior is spacious, big enough for 2 person. me is 5'5" and my partner is 6'3". still have enough space for gear storage. Have not yet try to use it outdoor. not able to comment how it works esp. in hars...

just amazingly light

This the lightest tent I've ever had. It's not really meant for 3 persons (more like 2 and a small bit) but it's waterproof and it's such a tiny size when packed (smaller than my MSR hubba 1 and 2).

Very lightweight and packs small with great interior space. My only worry is the lack of vents but time will tell if it becomes a condensation problem. I've used once so far and it was perfect.

Used it this weekend, very comfortable size for 2 ppl, 3 would be tight squeeze, easy set up. The rain held off so can't report for sure on how dry it keeps you, but expect to have no issues with good gap between mesh and rain fly and good coverage from fly especially with a few extra tie offs already connected.

Q I just recieved this tent. The features listed in your description indicate there are 8 interior pockets. No pockets in mine. Am i missing something?

Big Agnes list the tent having 8 internal pockets, but it would appear that the tent only has two internal pockets.

Q The footprint has been discontinued, is there another footprint, even from a different brand, that would be UL and compatible?

There really isn't any other footprint that would be compatible. Usually the best suggestion is getting your hands on some Tyvek(house wrap), and cutting just smaller than the footprint. You could also try and contact Big Agnes directly and see if they have any. Let us know if you have any additional questions.
