The Birdie Pal Octagon Trekking Umbrella is at minimum as robust as the Birdie Pal Outdoor Trekking Umbrella known as the strongest trekking umbrella worldwide and at the same time significantly lighter, weight in at only about 300 grams = 10.58 oz. The umbrella owes its name to the newly invented octagonal fiberglass shaft to withstand extreme stress and strain. A modern very thin and still extremely durable polyamide fabric with Teflon treatment contributes to the enormous weight reduction. When opened, the canopy diameter measures a comfortable nearly 38 inches or 100 cm in diameter.
