This harness is fabulous. Very comfortable. There are four main gear loops that have a plastic covering. They sit a little closer to my body than my old harness. My quick draws were catching my t-shirt when I attempted to re-racked them. The fifth gear loop in the back is more of a wiry type loop without a plastic covering.
