These axes are the best compromise between conventional axes and ice tools. The only change I would make would be to offer them with a choice of picks for the origional purchase.
When you need a second tool to keep going, this is the one to look for. The perfect compliment to a general use axe for the steeper stuff, or as an axe that can be used to self belay if your other tool is more technically curved. Feels great in the hand, light, and works well even into overhanging ice.
