The compact Escape Hawk by Peter Fegan is an impressive example of how well-designed ergonomics can influence a tool's performance. The slightly offset handle design of the Escape Hawk is the result of a careful analysis of the biomechanical processes of chopping motions. Despite its compact measurements, the knife offers maximum effectiveness surpassing that of many bigger tools. The base of SK5- carbon steel is powder-coated to protect it from corrosion. The steel is often used for tomahawks and offers extraordinary shock resistance.
The textured handle scales of glass fiber reinforced plastic (FRN) ensure the best possible grip and hold. With the striker at the back, the knife becomes even more useful as an emergency tool.
