The Campfire Defender cover is composed of a military grade, extreme temperature fabric designed to endure temperatures in excess of 2500F. This fabric is highly durable. The top coat is also weather resistant polymer designed to keep rain and snow out of your fire pit. Your fire pit will remain dry allowing for easy fire starts in the morning.
I've had my Campfire Defender for about 3 months. It is fantastic in poor weather, especially in rain. If you have ever tried to relight a fire after a downpour, you know what I'm talking about. Well constructed, mine has show little wear after 5 uses. They say it will last over 100 fires and I would have to agree at this point. You won't be disappointed.
