The 22lbs Counterweight by Celestron helps you achieve balance with your Celestron Telescope by reducing or eliminating swing when the R.A. and DEC locks are released.
Using accessories such as Optics, Lens Shades, Tele-Extenders and the 2" Diagonal will affect the balance of your telescope. These Celestron Counterweights will restore proper balance, increase ease in handling and improve tracking accuracy.
