Backed by light flannel and more flexible than standard three layers, Gore-Tex Soft Shell fabric seals out spitting, sleeting or puking storms, while also breaking in to feel softer over the course of a season. Waterproof pit zips shed heat on short hikes, a stealth cord tucks away a pass and a snow skirt keeps hip-deep pow outside.
