Perfect fit for added protection

With a DOMETIC's cooler price, its kind of unfortunate that this cover isn't included. That aside though, it is a necessity to have to further protect your investment, supporting the longevity of the cooler. The black color does help keep the cooler low-key, which is great for any overlanding vehicle that is suspecting of being equipped with overlanding products.

Well worth it!

So I recently upgraded to the new CFX3 45 from my old CFX 40. The old one had Dometics insulating cover on it, which was very helpful in keeping the cords and accessories organized and readily available. A good protective case

the case is good looking and well made and fit precisely to the fridge. It's fairly thin but still provides some extra insulation. There is a small pocket which I put a bottle opener and some trash bag in. I wish it has a big enough pocket to store the cables.

The Dometic Cfx3 45 is an excellent cooler and has a very solid build. Kept our wine, beer, other beverages and snacks at a perfect temp during our 3 day weekend on the road. I’d also recommend the protective cover which is also super high quality.

Very efficient,quick to zero

This refrigerator is very efficient in the 100+ temperature we have been experiencing while I’ve had it . Set at 34 it has been under .8AH . Approximately 4 3.amp draws for 30 seconds every hour . The initial drop down to 34 took approximately 10-15 minutes.
