I am a fan of EXPED products and this hammock has not disappointed. Nicely constructed and reasonable weight worth of leisure or backcountry travel. I have been backpacking for many years and this is a nice addition to my gear inventory. Coupled with Hummingbird Hammock tree straps my set up is slightly over 13 oz. I often doze off in minutes.
No need to buy a suspension kit separately, there are ropes at each end of the hammock for set up. It is recommended that you use a reef knot as it is easier to undo after there has been tension in the hammock
