The Explore Scientific Twilight I Adjustable Mount and Tripod quickly and easily matches up nicely with small to medium sized refractor telescopes. This telescope head mount engineered by the professionals at Explore Scientific is made of powder-coated aluminum and worm gears on both axes. The Explore Scientific Twilight I Adjustable Head Mount & Chrome-Plated Steel Tripod features an adjustable angle head that can be tilted forward or back at a 45° angle, or you can point it straight up for viewing at the zenith. The chrome-plated steel tripod of the Explore Scientific Twilight I Alt-Azimuth Mount & Tripod has adjustable legs and a wide foot print of 42 inches for more stability and the spreader bar locks against the inside of the legs to secure the tripod even further, and keep vibrations to a minimum.
