Fjallraven Expedition Down Parka No. 1 - Women's

An incredibly durable and well-insulated winter parka for professional use, developed for the arctic winters rigid demands on reliability and functionality in extreme conditions. Substantial reinforcements, insulation and features that are designed for extreme cold and that can be handled with gloves on. The jacket is made from wind and water resistant G-1000Eco and padded with premium down (fill power 800 cuin). The shoulders, lower back, sleeves and pockets are reinforced with G-1000 HeavyDuty Eco and the jacket is lined with pliant polyamide. The hand pocket linings and the inside of the collar, against the chin, are made from soft, warm wool from the renowned cloth mill Abraham Moon. The storm hood with its generous wind funnel cut and synthetic fur edging protects against wind and cold, and can be adjusted to follow the movements of the head. The front zipper is two way and hidden behind a protective flap with easily gripped buttons that are attached to the garment with hardwearing corded ribbon. There are two hand pockets on the chest and the mens model also has two vertical chest pockets with zippers. Two spacious top loaded pockets lower down, also with easily gripped buttons, and two spacious inside storage pockets. Sleeve cuffs with Velcro adjustments and a drawcord to adjust the waist. The jacket also has a pair of detachable elasticated bivouac-braces so you can have the jacket on without using the sleeves.
