They started by creating an enhanced Tech system toe attachment, to provide a rigid and secure boot interface and an easy step-in experience. A heel mechanism was added that shifts fore and aft to allow for an easy switch between ski and tour mode without having to release the boot from the binding. G3 remained focused on weight and ease of adjustment every step of the way. The end result is the Onyx, an AT binding that deserves the G3 name.
