When in use, the Garmin nuvi Powered GPS Mount is compact and clean, with only a single cable running to the GPS device and your Garmin nüvi held securely in place on the adjustable arm. The mini-USB power cable connects via a wireing harness installed beneath the dashboard to the car's 12-volt power source, and runs up through the dashboard to connect to the mount - so it's almost entirely out of sight and out of your way. When you don't need your GPS, simply detach the mounting arm and the mini-USB power connection with the click of a button, and cover the base of the Garmin nüvi Mount with the included protective cover plate. The Garmin nüvi Powered Dash Mount is compatible with all recent Garmin nüvi models.
