Granite Gear Pack Pockets are designed to work with their packs and most other packs on the market. These ultralight pockets with foam backing attach to a pack's side, front or lid compression straps, offering you extra room, protection and convenience. They feature a water-resistant YKK zipper, with the protection of a "garage" that the slider parks in. Constructed of ultralight 70-denier ripstop Hybrid sil-nylon Cordura and 210-denier nylon Cordura.

Great Product

I bought 2x large and 1x medium pack pocket. They are pretty good, I thought they were a little larger in size but they will work for my pack. One thing to watch is to not over fill them, the zipper will come apart easily if you have too much stuff in there.

I purchased the small as a replacement bag for my Katadyn Pocket water filter. It's just a shade on the tight side, but holds everything. Very well made, and appears to be durable.

Q I am wondering how this pack pocket attaches to my pack.

Expert Answer

A loop on the back of the pocket will allow straps on your pack to slip through and secure the item (like belt loops).
