The pack is very well functioned. There are several access to the main compartment. The back panel and shoulder straps and hip belt are very comfortable. Comes with rain cover and a Ultralight daypack. Very user-friendly pack

I've been think about buying this hiking backpack. One of the design I like the most is its side bag for the bottle, which is so convenient for drinking during hiking. The design of the side bag makes you fetch your water bottle without taking off your backpack or asking for other's help. it's a very nice back for a starter to explore sierras! and I have used this back for several times to climb mountains, there is no bad experience.
the only problem for me is that it's an old version. I wish I can use the newest version....

And boy, does this one deliver. Customizable shoulder harness and belt provide the comfort, while both will 'cant' as necessary to improve fit. It makes 40 lbs feel like 25 or less. It can also be stripped down, removing the top pocket and the internal hydration sleeve that, are you ready for this, doubles as a summit pack with shoulder straps. Wow.

Bought this bag for the comfortability. Lot of adjustability as well. Materials are nicely integrated, and seem to be built to last. The lumbar support and over all back support is the best attribute of this bag. Tons of access, and pockets also come in useful. I think this is the last backpacking bag I will ever need.

The bag is great, but the rain cover that came with was a medium and different color. The color does not bother me, but I am concerned that the medium rain cover will not fit proper on my large bag when if filled. Please let me know if this can be corrected. Thank you Jason
