Took these boots on their first test this morning. First day I got them they fit perfectly. Today I tested them on a short 2 hour hike. Lots of ankle support, no heal slippage and no hot spots. Feet didn't get too hot either even with the insulation. Oh and they are top quality.
Hard to write a complete review for I have not used the boots yet. I was disappointed with how hard the footbed/insole is. Felt like I was standing on boards. Orders some spendy custom made footbeds from Lathrop and Sons. Hoping that helps. Boot seems to be made well throughout except for footbeds. I was concerned they were too tight at first and the foot bed was too hard. Insert gel insoles and wear them around the house for a day and they fit perfect. If they feel snug at first thats good. They will wear in within a day or two. My feet stayed perfectly comfortable and dry all 5 days in the mountains. These boots are very high quality and extremely durable and every bit ... Read more
Bought a couple pairs for work, they fit perfectly, almost like a slipper. Only gripe I have, the insoles are paper thin and offer no comfort at all. I just added a different insole and I couldn't be happier.
500 bucks for a pair of boots, maybe spend a little bit more time improving the insole. Overall, amazing boot.

These boots are amazing. The have great support. Keep you feet warm and cozy even when sitting for a while in the snow. Great traction. Most importantly I experience virtually no breaking period. They were comfortable right out of the box and did not give me blister after hiking and backpacking miles into the Colorado and New Hampshire back country. As with all of my boots I us... Read more
I'm at the break in stage of the boot and can tell they should last along time. All the seams are in the heel area and away from wear spots. The boot has great ankle support, protection from rock and enough sole stiffness for steep terrain.
