This is a great backpacking chair the only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is because the chair will sink in the ground , shouldn’t have to buy a separate pad to prevent it . But all and all I recommend this product

We love Helinox gear.
We have a teardrop camper and Helinox is the only brand that we have found that is small enough to store in the compact spaces of our camper.
But be careful, this stuff is addictive. We now somehow have 6 Helinox pieces and counting. This chair was a great addition to the collection.

Very comfy chair. Everyone who mocks me carrying into camp won't stay out of it. If you going into areas with soft soils get the ground sheet to keep it from sinking. It also is nice to have while unpacking and packing your pack to keep your gear off the ground.

I was pleasantly surprised by this chair! To me it is worth it to pack out a slightly heavier chair vs a lightweight sitting pad. Being able to lounge comfortably after hiking hours with all my gear is a blessing.

Chair is easy to assemble, just shake the center pole and they almost all pop into place. Little low to the ground but not bad, just push on the sides and up and out you go! Lightweight and fits in my kayak. Was going to by a knock-off but read so many reviews expressing problems. So I stuck with Helinox because of their reputation.
