IT IS COMFORTABLE, VERY WELL ENGINEERED, BIGGER THAN THE THERM-A-REST MODEL, IT IS EASIER TO GET OFF OF BECAUSE IT IS HIGHER--MAYBE TOO HIGH FOR SOME TENTS. The cot seems to be very well built. It is comfortable to sleep on and I especially like that it sits higher off the ground which makes it easier to get onto and off the cot. am impressed with quality and fit. Pretty expensive but for an old guy with bad knees-it might be worth it. Backpacking into a base camp makes reduced weight important as well!

Q Is it possible to use as low cot without legs?

Unfortunately it will stretch out the bungees and would not be possible.

Q Helinox says it can't be used without the legs because the legs are permanently bungeed to the bottom supports, and pulling the legs out and laying them next to the bottom frames will overstretch the bungees.
