The Hillsound Super Armadillo gaiter is a contour-fitting stretch gaiter with a base of SuperFabric, the most durable barrier on the market to prevent cuts, abrasions, and punctures. This material is extremely tough and will withstand any scraping or puncture from crampons, scree, or icy mountain approaches. For this reason, the Super Armadillo is the gaiter of choice for mountaineers and alpine climbers. The upper is made of waterproof and breathable Flexia stretch fabric to ensure a snug fit that won't pinch or fall down. With a YKK zipper for easy on and off on the trail, no debris, snow, or rain will interfere with your hike!

We use SuperFabric in our gaiters as it is an industry leader for stain and abrasion resistance, breathability and waterproof rating.
