How do you roll a Kelty sleeping bag?

When going backpacking or camping, saving space is always a priority. Since your sleeping bag can take up a lot of space, learning how to roll it properly ensures you are not taking up more volume than necessary. To roll a Kelty sleeping bag, start by laying it out flat on the ground and running your hands over it to make sure it is even. Next, fold it in half lengthwise and then run your hands over it again to flatten it and remove any air pockets.

Then, align the edges so that they are even. Finally, place a heavy object on the head area to keep it stationary and start rolling from the bottom. As you go, keep pressure on the rolled portion to keep it compact. Once you reach the head, use your sleeping bag straps to tighten everything and hold it together.
