The Kestrel Portable Vane Mount is an ingeniously simple, lightweight and portable accessory. The Kestrel Portable Vane Mount can be coupled with any Kestrel 4 series meter, including a Kestrel 4500, to create a data logging weather station capable of tracking changes in the wind direction and speed. The Vane Mount attaches easily to the Kestrel Portable Tripod (or any tripod).
Together, the Kestrel 4500 and Vane Mount weigh less than 8 ounces (227 g.) and pack into a compact 2 x 6 inch (5 x 15.25 cm) case.
