A combination of the boot's flexible upper and 3/4 shank strike the balance of comfort and support. Designed for heavy use in muddy conditions, the patent-pending boot tread design, inspired by self-cleaning mountain bike tires, features optimally shaped and spaced lugs that disengage mud, so you don't get weighed down. Pair that with the optimized fit of the ankle to minimize heel lift, and you have a solid system to traverse through sticky clay and deep mud.
