The high tensioned Slingshot Rand is tied into the Powerhinge on the sole so that when small edges are weighted the shoe stretches in the back half of the shoe and not in the front. The laced Miuras usually give a better fit than the velcro - so I usually prefer them. I have TC pros and Miura's in my rotation and I tend to have a preference for different shoes for some routes.
