These are nice. They're a little stiff to slide. Adjusting the tension helps. On the other hand, they lock well and don't slip - which is a good trade off.
Very nice trekking poles. I have been using a pair of Leki Makalu Ultralight Ti poles for years and even replaced the tips once. Been looking at several different poles to replace my current set but I love my Makalus and quite frankly hard to give up. Not only are the Ti's light weight but they have little or no swing effort.
