Maldona Antishock trekking poles feature LEKI's Soft Antishock System (SAS) Lite that reduces stress on the joints, muscles and ligaments. The combination of internal steel spring and elastomer creates a smooth and unique suspension system that is quieter and reduces shock more effectively than other designs. LEKI places the SAS Lite system closer to the point of impact by embedding it inside the shaft of the lower pole section, keeping the spring cleaner and requiring less maintenance. Made from 80% natural ground cork and 20% latex, LEKI's Round Top COR-TEC grips serve as comfortable, confident handholds. Integrated straps further reduce stress on your wrists and provide additional security and comfort. Carbide flex tips that deflect up to 30 degrees without damaging the lower pole sections. This reduces the risk of pole breakage if the pole should get caught between rocks or tree roots on the trail. Standard trekking baskets are included and are interchangeable with a simple screw on/off design that stays secure.
