Product Info for LiteFighter Gear Shelter Groundsheet Footprint
The LiteFighter 1 Ground Sheet (NSN 8340-01-628-9164) and the LiteFighter 2 Ground Sheet (NSN 8340-01-628-9166) are an additional layer of waterproofness and wear resistance barrier. It is constructed out of the same durable 70 Denier Rip-Stop nylon as the inner tent with 6 grommet points that allow you to secure our LiteFighter 1 and LiteFighter 2 tent on top using our pole set. The ground sheet is required if you want to construct the Hasty-Hooch and hide-site configuration. To construct these variations, it requires a soldier to insert the pole-set into the grommets on the groundsheet to erect the framework, and then you can place and secure the rainfly or camo netting over the pole-set.
