The Courmayeur SO Pants are proven soft shell pants for alpine activities. Made from breathable, elastic schoeller stretch material, with pre-shaped knee sections and a gusset crotch, they open up unlimited freedom of movement. At the same time, robust ripstop material reinforcements on the knees, edges and seat mean the Courmayeur pants are also prepared for use on the rocks. The schoeller coldblack treaent reflects 80% of sunlight from dark colors to stop the pants from heating up.

Helpful Positive Review
Lightweight, very stretchy, good wind resistance, durable so far, and good moisture resistance. Only worn a handful of times for winter hikes trudging through snow and ice where they kept me dry and warm with pair of goretex infinium tights underneath. Afterwards I really appreciated the built in gator with hook for when the few snow drifts that were mid thigh deep.

It's a bit slim in the waist but fits well otherwise. I am also not a huge fan of the button snap for the waist either but it works I suppose. The material is very stretchy and it's easy to move around in.
