I have worn this jacket in the backcountry and at the resort for 2 and a half seasons and it has never failed me. There are not any pit zips, but if I am hot enough hiking up i just take it off until I need it to block the wind when I reach the peak. This jacket is everything that I expected and then some. I am 187lbs and 5'11" and it fit great with lots of room for layering.
Delivery was great from campsaver like usually.
