Worth the hype

This is my second pair of Merrill hiking footwear. After having success with their shoes, I decided I wanted boots. I’ve heard pros and cons about waterproof hiking boots. Some folks say they aren’t breathable. I’ve gone on a few longer hikes and haven’t had any issues. These boots have good grip, feel sturdy, and they kept me dry in creeks and puddles.
