The jacket is very light and compressible, so it's easy to take it everywhere. Moreover, the jacket is very warm. The only downside could be that the fabric is not very durable.

I'd been coveting this parka for over a year. To save myself from this sin, I bought it for myself for Christmas. Putting on this parka is like slipping into a cloud of warmth. So far the seams seem well-made, and I am pleased with the fit. The sleeves on this medium are long enough for my somewhat-lanky 6-2 182 frame.

This Parka is very warm. Maybe a bit too warm due the the baffle construction. I have two other 800 fill down jackets; both are sewn through construction. One with less fill weight than this one and the other have more weight than this one. I use the heavier filled jacket for colder weather because it is warmer. I am a winter hiker in northern New England and have been looking for an ultralight, durable and warm down layer. This is perfect - a great fit, packable, light and very warm without being bulky. The hood is adjustable for visibility and protection. I chose the orange for visibility and contrast in snow and mist.
