Lighter than a cotton t-shirt but very warm, the Montbell Ultralight Down Vest is amazing. Everyone that picks this vest up is completely shocked by how light and soft it is. It compresses down to the size of a softball and comes with a stuff sack that weighs 6 grams. High quality 800 fill power hypoallergenic goose down provides warmth without weight. The shell is made out of 15-denier Ballist Airlight ripstop nylon that is incredibly soft, light and highly wind resistant. Stretch nylon binding cuffs and full length coil zipper seal out cold air. Hand warmer pockets add comfort. Single-quilt construction reduces weight. DWR finish resists rain and snow.
