It is a well designed product.Durable shell, water repellent finish. While, I do not reckon it as a parka, as actually shorter than expected. And the down is fewer，800 fill though.UL parka, as defined.lol

Q Is it water resistant?;

It is water resistant! The DWR treating is a "Durable Water Repellent". This will be fine in wispy rain, but nothing heavy. It does not replace a waterproof shell for adverse weather conditions. Hope that helps!
