Warm, windproof and breathable, the Andola Jacket is an ideal choice for everything from cold weather mountaineering and ski-touring to winter hill walking. A soft and comfortable outer layer in better weather it also acts as a super warm mid-layer when worn under a shell in driving rain and snow.
The HD Wool insulation is sourced from a UK woollen mill in Yorkshire, just over the Pennines from Mountain Equipments Manchester office. Wool brings many benefits for technical clothing, including high levels of insulation, moisture resistance and breathability. With 100g/m2 fill throughout the Andola strikes an ideal balance with the warmth for freezing hill days and the low bulk and mobility for more technical use.
Lightweight 20 denier Nylon outer fabric is wind resistant, highly breathable and has mechanical stretch for excellent freedom of movement. It uses a fluorocarbon-free DWR treatment.
Our Mountain fit gives room to move and layer without excess fabric and theres a protective insulated Mountain Hood that means you wont need to reach for your shell as soon as the wind picks up.
