Mountain Equipment Particle Hooded Jacket - Men's

Filled with 100% recycled POLARLOFT Featherless insulation, the Particle Hooded Jacket offers the feel and warmth of down with the resilience of synthetic insulation. Thriving on big mountain days, it can be worn as a lightweight and comfortable outer layer or under a shell in more severe conditions.

Worn as an outer layer, the windproof 100% recycled 20D fabric with fluorocarbon-free water repellency protects from cold winds and helps shed light rain and swirling snow, while our slim Alpine fit and elastane-bound cuffs and hem keep the jacket low-volume and streamlined. The additional benefit of an elastane-bound Mountain Hood and stretch fleece panels in critical areas reduces bulk. It improves mobility, making this a versatile layer ideal for extensive mountaineering and ski-touring days and hiking or climbing in cooler conditions.

When not needed, the Particle packs into its hand pocket with twin karabiner carry loops for easy storage in a pack or harness.
