I wear this jacket when the weather is kind of cold, probably from 0-25F outside. I usually walk to school and I usually wear it on my way to school. It is really comfortable, soft and light. And I feel warm on my way to school. Also, it is my cup of tea. It looks fashion and it is pretty suitable for a college student or graduate student like me.
MH's warmest synthetic parka... hmn... It is pretty warm, but not as warm as I'd hoped. It's a belay parka. So it should be warm enough to stand around and belay a climber in. Any insulated jacket is going to be warm if you're hiking up a hill in it; but a belay parka should have enough insulation that it keeps you warm even when you're just standing around doing nothing.
