This vest was purchased for a forthcoming adventure race and although I have not used it yet for that I wanted to give my first impressions. I love the feel of it and the front bottle pouches are big enough to hold 16+ oz. bottles. The pack is also big enough to hold whatever for long hard runs. Although it has loops where you could install a bungee on the pack, I wish it came with a bungee on the pack to secure a jacket or something to the outside.

I really like the Mountain Hardwear Fluid Race Vest Pack. I use this for local hikes. It makes it very convenient to carry GPS, water and snacks for local hikes. So light!
