I think the Backpacker Pantry is def better but this 2 serving package is smaller and lighter so it was more ideal when space/weight was a concern.

One of my very favorite AM meals on the market. I have taken these to campus and enjoyed between classes too.

My husband and I taste-tested this small serving size to see if we would want to buy larger quantities for food storage. The verdict was definitely YES! It was delicious! It had a high proportion of blueberries to granola. One bonus to this meal is that it doesn't require hot water - cold water could be used and probably would taste better since it's more like a cold cereal.

Food choices for backpacking with kids can be challenging. This product not only suited us parents, but the kids loved it and it was a huge energy boost for a big day out on the trail. It was the start of our day hiking up Half Dome and we made it!
