I picked two of these up for my son and I, and we both love them. You simply can't beat the weight when compared to other camp chairs. I find that these are very comfortable and it's nice to sit back and relax after a day of backpacking. Only one little change is that I added a stake to keep the front from sliding up.

I think this slingback chair potentially could be helpful. I know I get tired of sitting on hard logs (or rocks) after a long day on the trail. Unfortunately, I have not had a chance to really try it out (weather conditions) on my first trip with it. So, at this time I am withholding a recommendation.

I won't be doing quite as much relaxing around camp and I will couple this with the Therm-a-Rest Z seat pad that I already carry and be able to cut 12oz without sac... Read more
