generally feels pretty skookum, but the shortfalls are; i don't like the plastic hardware which is a trend with most duffels, no pad for the shoulder strap, the separate compartments on either end are great for keeping things separated but even when empty they protrude into the main compartment obstructing your view and are a nuisance, and of course everyone mentions how if you... Fantastic product. I have purchased Mystery Ranch products before and it has always been highest caliber construction. Practical, well thought out, with a clean and tactical feel to it. This duffle has a great layout and I very nice feature of the backpack straps on the reverse side that can be hidden and zipped away if not using to keep a clean duffle look. Highly recommended
