A versatile waterproof pants for backcountry freeride These protective ski/snowboarding pants (754g W/L) are made for freeriding but work perfectly for all kinds of ski/snowboard activities on and off-slope. Made in a premium GORE-TEX fabric. We use it because its the world-leading quality for durable waterproofness (28,000mm), optimized breathability (RET Less than 9), and total windproofness. The bottom of the legs are reinforced with 450D 100% Vectran fabric (255 g/m2) to increase durability where the pants tend to rub against boots or steel edges.
A custom fit waist system, side ventilation with powder mesh, vectran reinforced around the ankles to protect for ski edges, two zippered front thigh pockets one with mesh inside pocket for phone, two hand pockets, snow-gaiters, snap in powder skirt possibility from Norrna ski/snowboard jackets, possability for zip in bib. These pants have a regular fit with articulated knees.
