Top loader will even hold a refillable #6 vertical aluminum propane tank. As a cruising sailor, this pack is wonderful for carrying all sorts of things to and from shore in the dinghy. Top flap pocket for your "papers" too. Read the instruction manual cleverly tucked into the hardest-to-find pocket so you don't miss any of the features!
When hiking, I take what's needed to survive an overnight in the woods. To date, I've managed with a Raptor 14 but its cramped. So, I was looking for a day pack, one that stows my trekking poles handily and had a little more room to store an extra layer or two. The Stratos 26 will do just fine, including the transfer acceptance of the Raptor's water badder and hose.

Once again, Osprey did a great job of design and functionnality with this Osprey Stratos 26.
Keep in mind that I just used this bag in winter so far, but the trampoline mesh system works perfectly! No more sweat in the back. I don't know if it'll be the same this summer, but I sweat a lot with any other bag, even in the winter.
