I wore these gloves in a several hour drenching rain on a recent backpacking trip. They kept my hands warm enough, but two of the seams between fingers tore open when I took them off. They were very wet, for sure, and I agree with a previous reviewer who warned about sizing (though my usual mediums were too small), but they did not stand up very long to wear--again, four or fiv... I thought these gloves worked well - kept my hands warm enough while hiking in 32 degree weather; and were small enough to fit under another glove when temps dropped below that. My only complaint is that they were not snug enough. I wear (and ordered) a medium and wished I had gotten size small.
