Owner Hooks Stinger-35 Treble Hook, Needle Point, Short Shank, Round Bend/Wide Gap — 4 models
Product Info for Owner Hooks Stinger-35 Treble Hook, Needle Point, Short Shank, Round Bend/Wide Gap
Short Shank Wide Gap Treble are similar to our ST-36 series but with a short shank and wider gaps. Shorter shanks allow wider-gapped hooks to be used without the fear of multiple trebles on the same lure fouling each other. Also, by their nature, short shanks flex less. This treble also features 150 PPP (Premium Point Position see illustration) that splits two hook points apart by 150, versus the typical 120 split between all three points. Opening this gap allows the hook points to be positioned slightly farther out from the hardbait body, encouraging hookups that otherwise might not happen and resulting in less hook damage to the lure.
