I usually buy Patagonia Barely Baggies in a size L. I wear a 10 or 12 in a gap brand short. I bought these 5" baggies in a L and really like them. They are longer and higher waisted than the barely baggies, more utilitarian, which is fine by me. I will buy more pairs of these in the future. For reference I'm 5' 9" barefoot and 160lbs.

I bought these for my niece. She loves them. They are great for lounging or for being active. They material is nice and holds up very well. She loves the vibrant print. Would definitely recommend!

I used to wear lots of Nike shorts etc, but I'm a ropes operator and have to use a very heavy belt-clip radio. Patagonia shorts are perfect because the drawstring is so secure that I can hold up the radio without my pants falling down and the deep pockets and water resistance are unparalleled with any other short I've found. They last and last.
