I was on the fence between LW and MW. Ultimately, I am glad I went with the MW as I feel the LW would be too light. Size small fits perfect (5'8" ~155 lb)

I own the thermal weight Patagonia bottoms as well as these and the grid fleece is the way to go. Capilene is a great thermal regulator as well this pair of midweight bottoms are versatile if you want just a little extra warmth in the not so warm part of the year these are the way to go.
